Why should we watch it?

This TED talk only lasts 10 minutes, but because of Andy’s enthusiasm you want it to last longer. Andy Puddicombe explains what meditation did for him and what it can do for you. When he was about 20, many stressful things happened. He wanted to escape his restless thoughts and decided to become a monk in the Himalayas. He learned how to have a greater appreciation for the present moment, that used to be underrated. In our daily life, we have more focus on cars and clothes than on our brain. Andy even tells us that our minds, in the present moment, are lost for 47% of the time, half of our lives! By stepping back and meditating we can actually see our thoughts pass by which will give us more focus, calmness and clarity. A great talk!
