Why should we watch it?
In the Gulf of Mexico, creatures that can’t swim or can’t swim fast enough often seem to sufficate at the end of spring. Along the coast, deadzones appear from late spring to early fall. This strange curse isn’t unique – it seems to appear all over the world. Why do they appear each year? Find out what’s happening and what needs to be done, or better said, needs to stop in order for a healthy marine ecosystem to return.
