Why should we watch it?
We know sleep is good for you. Waking up 3 times a night is an understatement for parents with small children. And we have all experienced what is does to our focus and concentration during the day. But it apparently has so many other negative effects to our body and mind. Matt Walker tells us in a very calm way why we shouldn’t see sleep as a luxury – it is a necessity. He shows us what a lack of sleep does to our immune system, to our stress level, and what the effects are on Alzheimer’s and cancer. The shorter your sleep, the shorter your life.
An absolute wake up call for everyone who takes sleep for granted!
